having lived 15 miles form kannapolis for about 15 years of my life, I have to say...

it's a fucking shithole of a "city"... barely above a suburban level, but with roads set up more like a city, and with plenty of homeless people and litter on the streets to make it even more city-like. Besides that, unless a new college with even decent standards is being constructed there, it's not going to even be comprable to the real RTP.
