Can't you afford a high heating bill?

honestly, I never pay attention to the bill because reality is that it's only going to be a difference of a few bucks and considering how much I get raped paying in rent, I at least wanna be comfortable....

Also, I only put it up when I'm at home, it goes down to like 65-67 when I leave

i have 3rd floor apt with skylights, so i leave heat off during the day. at night, i set it to 72-3 because if i set it lower than that, it will run continuously. i've come in a couple nights when i tried to keep it around 68 and it was over 100 degrees in the house. I would just leave it off all the time but i feel my pets would be uncomfortable.

73 at night and most days, 75 on a cold day.

I don't think those are entirely accurate because I can go into someone else's house and 70 feels fine. And ours is a digital thermostat.

I don't remember what we set it to during the summer, but I'm thinking 75-77.

my gas bill is pretty high in the winters due to living in a place that has floor to ceiling windows on 2 major walls

we still haven't turned on the gas and prob. won't

thermostat is completely off. impossible to watch tv in the living room because the fireplace will let smoke back into the house after about an hour of use.

electric heat in the room ftw.

i use 70 as the max

when i feel cold, i go check it. its normally about 66 when that happens so i bump it up to 68-69. if its already at that level, then i put on a sweatshirt for a little while. but i dont go above 70. not so much cause of the bill, in the winter its like 75 for gas and 100 for electricity anyways so fuck it, i think i just have some kind of OCD, or i'm scared im gonna make it too hot.

Usually around the 70-75 area. If I get cold, I put on a sweater.

Honestly, I just don't like to touch the goddamn thermostat ever.

I'm fucking weird yo. When I'm asleep, I get hot as shit. Not to mention, some girl is always trying to cuddle with me (+ 10 degrees). I also have a goose feather comforter on my bed (fuck a goose.....they never did nothin' for nobody). That shit is HOT (hot). It usually ends up as a ball on my floor in the morning.

65-67 when my roommate is home, b/c it's his condo and he likes it cold. If he's away for a few days I bump it up to 70 or so.

I usually keep mine off. I'm perfectly willing to walk around the apartment wrapped in a blanket if it means not having to pay a higher energy bill.

Usually, anyway. The apartment I'm currently in comes with electricity included, so I get to leave the heat running and I never see the bill.
