Mc.D's owned a share of it, yes. However, they at no point ran it. It is still owned and ran by the same CHEF that started it, to raise funds for his own resturant. And, McD's has since sold it's shares, and is no longer involved. You can read about it in several articles, including a recent Newsweek.

Just got back a little while ago

I got there at 6 and it took about an hour to get the food, but damn it was worth it. The burrito was HUGE (over 1 lb) and it came with chips, guacamole, and a drink.

This is what it would have cost if I had paid:

Steak burrito: 5.80
Chips: 0.75
Guacamole: 1.50
Drink: 1.50

The food was GOOD but kinda pricey...I think I'll stick to Baja Burrito.
