the one i always went to was off of wake forest rd

damn i cant remember the name of it

i know you turn left on wake forest rd if coming from state on the inner beltline. Pass the Ale House and the BP and its on a side rd on the right

^Quail Corners is it...thx

they saved my puppy from parvo so i highly recommend them

vet school won't do shit. i remember when some jackfuck hit terpball's dog with a golf club (not on purpose, but still stupid to be hitting golfballs in the back yard at 2am or whatever with a dog running around), and he wasn't home and i was like omfgwtf and started with the vet school. and they basically said to fuck off.

I've always been under the impression that emergency services at the vet school were for small or exotic animals.

^^While I wait on my bf to get out of the bathroom: his cocker just suddenly starting barking, and running loops full-speed around the house. At one point, he was dribbling piss, and when he's still, he's tense and shaking. He's slowing down now, but I think that's due to sheer exhaustion. Despite panting from all this, he is not drinking any water. All this is VERY out of character.

so they can be prepared

a freaking beagle is pretty small

and you'd think they wouldnt mind looking at a puppy that got smacked with a golf club for some students

its not that expensive, i was hanging out with my cousin and her husband one night and we were sitting up watching tv and bullshitting kinda late. the dog started getting really weird and sick and she knew of a vet that was open and wanted to go. so i decided i would just go with her. it wasnt a lot more than a normal vet bill, its not like it made her go get insurance for her dog

Vet found nothing that needed immediate care. Kevin (dog) was still wimpering, so the vet gave us a pain med for his pain, and a sedative to slow him down.

He said it looks like a classic case of a dog ingesting a stimulant, but we can't think of a damn thing he could have gotten into. Vet asked about chocolate, coffee grounds, and cigarettes.

Cigarettes: there simply aren't any in the house
coffee: back of the fridge; is never gotten out
chocolate: we have a little bit in the house, but it's out of his reach, and no one's had any in a while

The odds that he got something while outside to pee are slim to none: it's a fenced yard, and we don't let him wander. Someone would have had to throw something into the yard for him to get, and the neighbors on both sides have multiple dogs. Someone did throw chicken bones into the yard in may, but that was after some old biddy came bitching to our housesitter about this dog barking. And it was MY dog who ended up with the bones.
