i concur.

it takes a very short amount of time to PM a mod to fix this for you
1/26/2008 1:01:44 AM
yeah i know but i freaking hate pm'ing the mods as it is....half the time you either get the silent treatment or i just feel like i'm being a burdon with my wolfwebbing...honestly the other day i thought of pm'ing marko or gunzz like 30 links(was going to copy paste the delete post link to save them the trouble) of posts i wanted deleted...but like i said i hate being a burdoni was going to bump the "nude elkbabies" thread...it was 94 days old or sobut seriously...premies should be given like 120 days or something...would be another "perk" about being premie...i dont see what bad this can cause...is there anything bad about being able to bump a thread thats older than 90 days? i mean i aint saying something thats like 3 years old...maybe something thats like 150 days or at least 120 or something....just a thought[Edited on January 26, 2008 at 1:41 AM. Reason : plus if they extended the time to do that i wouldnt have 2 bother the mods to do it in the 1st place]

so far i get the impression omarbadu and beardawg do not like this idea..why, i have no idea...not saying its the best idea ever, but i definitely dont think its a "bad" idea...especially if it were just for premies...you know, maybe an extra month to bump just because they are premie or something....i see this as a win win situation...we can bump things that are 95 days old, and the mods dont have to be bothered as much

no it just seems like they are of the school of thought that they would rather a user pm them to ask them to do it than to just let the restrictions be like 4 months or what not
1/26/2008 10:39:32 AM
i don't think it's a bad idea to change it - i do think there needs to be some sort of restriction though - 90 days is probably too shorti get maybe one or two PM per week to bttt something though so i don't think this is a big issue
1/26/2008 10:55:14 AM
I am assuming the purpose of this restriction was to keep people from being a douche and bttt'ing a bunch of old threads just to be annoying. It does not stop people from doing this, it just means they have to find threads that are 85 days old. I think the whole rule should go.
1/26/2008 12:12:24 PM
97% of threads that are past 90 days old probably weren't worth keeping active in the first place.
1/26/2008 10:31:25 PM
that still leaves 3 percent
1/27/2008 5:08:04 AM
but 0% of your threads are worth bumping after 3 months

If you think it takes "leet skills" to link properly, you're a fucking moron.

^ agreed, but sometimes people forget and the n00bs don't know any better.regular expressions are not my forte, but this could be an easy fix that would save a lot of bitching.\http:\/\/?www?.(brentroad|thewolfweb).com*\bthat works in http://www.regular-expressions.info's javascript regexp tester at least, translate to .net and add a very useful feature with little effort.well, it kind of works. i'm sure someone clever can fix it.[Edited on January 28, 2008 at 12:43 PM.
