the ones in charlottesville are fast as hellbut i think VA abolished the red light camera system anyway
1/24/2008 11:05:24 PM
3-5 seconds generally varying due to speed limits and state laws
1/24/2008 11:05:30 PM
Long enough to catch me going through on red.

depends on the light timingsmost intersections are timed differently during different parts of the day and are often linked to each other
1/24/2008 11:10:02 PM
long as hell here. short in ny.if its a light with a cam it's like 1 sec shorter than usual.
1/24/2008 11:11:40 PM
depends on the the length of the intersection and speed limit among other things sometimes
1/24/2008 11:11:46 PM
hell, I've seen the length of the yellow lights vary from day to day on western.

I hate people who slam on their brakes as soon as the lights turn yellow even though they were going to make it thru. Ended up running into the back of one of those people back in August.
1/24/2008 11:24:05 PM
that means that a) you were following too close and b) not paying attention
1/24/2008 11:25:20 PM
Most likely a) and my brakes were shit.... I'm a dumbass.

Depends on the amount of traffic that flows down the road and onto that road, how many intersections there are, the distance between the intersections, some other things.
