no, the only 10,000rpm drive on the market that's SATA is the raptorunless you go SAS or SCSIthe fastest PMR drive you can get right now is the Hitachi 7K1000 drives (which are faster than raptors)[Edited on January 23, 2008 at 5:30 PM. Reason : .]

you mean "Wants PMR + large platter + 10,000rpm"the Hitachi is shown to be faster than the raptor and it's only 7,200rpm, the one factor that makes the raptor so quick is the spindle speed, the factor that makes the hitachi so fast is the platter size[Edited on January 23, 2008 at 6:06 PM.
