they are 1.19 here too. it went up before, and i ordered unknowingly. when they told me it went up, i went ahead and paid and told them that i would not be buying anything else from wendy's since the jr bacon was only worth 99 cents.

i figured they didn't care, but i guess everyone else bitched too because there was a sign out one day that said the 99 cent menu was back.

so i gave them another shot since they complied with my demands, and all was well. but once again, a few weeks later, i came back and it was 1.19 again. this time i didn't go ahead and pay, i told them to keep it and left. i bet that particular location either goes out of business or is forced by economics to go back down

people just won't pay 1.19 for something when the EQ price has been 99 cents for as long as they can remember. wendys is getting a lesson in EC 201.

ps- wouldn't it be weird if fast food "dollar menus" started having different prices every day based on the dollar's value and the industry and all that (like gas). like THE JR BACON HAS RISEN TO A RECORD HIGH $1.35 IN FLORIDA. NC RANKS LOWEST IN THE NATION AT $1.17. IF THIS TREND CONTINUES AND THE WHOPPER CONTINUES WITH THE RECORD BREAKING GAINS SHOWN LAST QUARTER, THE WENDY'S DOLLAR MENU COULD REACH $1.50 BY THE MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY.

I don't know if anyone posted this. But if you say you want your food to go, the tax is less than when you dine in. Cause you're not using their dining services. So whenever I'm at a restaurant, I always ask for my food to go, even if I'm gonna eat there. i did notice price difference at wendy's

The Junior Bacon went to 1.19 here for a VERY short period. The McDonalds came out with a .99 bacon cheeseburger and advertised it heavily (it was horrible btw), then the Junior Bacon went back to .99.
