check out the study guide for the first test:

Quote :
"Study Guide for ITEC 2054 Exam 1

The following is a list of points to study for the up-coming exam:

1.Know the basic parts of an electric circuit.
2.Know the effects of changing the source voltage and loads in a circuit.
3.Know the characteristics and formulas for series, parallel, and series-parallel circuits and how to apply the formulas.
4.Know how to calculate RT, IT, and VT for series, parallel and series-parallel circuits.
5.Know all the forms of Ohm’s law and the power formulas and how to apply them in series, parallel, and series-parallel circuits.
6.Know and understand the terms; voltage, current, resistance, load, power, energy, and work. Know the symbols and units used for each.
7. Know the three types of magnets
8.Know the terminology associated with magnets
9.Know the laws of magnetism
10.Know the terminology associated with inductors and capacitors.
11.Know how to compute total inductance and capacitance in series, parallel, and series-parallel circuits
12.Know the characteristics and general application of inductors and capacitors.
13.Understand what is meant by a time constant and know how to compute it for both inductive and capacitive circuits.
14.Know the time constant formulas and how to apply them for both inductive and capacitive circuits.
"

GOSH, I HOPE WE DONT HAVE TO ADD AND SUBTRACT, TOO. THAT'D BE HARD.

I'll always lament the fact that I didn't study circuits and vectors, wear Sambas and play WoW

Seems like I really missed out

I always love when I give lectures on ungrounded delta/wye systems. I'm always asked "well if there's no ground then where do the electrons go!
