lack of lob passes
unrealistic pursuit angles
rbs who cant go longer than 3 games in a row w/o fumbling
draw plays that dont work worth a damn
mlbs who can jump 6 feet high to pick off a pass
option tosses that defy physics
inability to run a dirty program in college

as a matter of fact, ea's ncaa football 08 (or slider tweaking 08 as it is also known) is actually a dud of a game

and im sure ncaa football 09 will be just as crappy

havent bothered playing madden or nba live on the 360 yet but am positive they both suck hard as well

i've tweaked the sliders on the xbox 360 version and it gives pretty realistic stats. No more 100 turnover games or upside down interceptions. And I can lob the ball just fine. The option is definitely an issue in the game and gives anyone running it an unfair advantage.

It's a whitewashed software mill.

They produce some really shitty games these days. Gameplay concepts are interesting in some of them but a lot of them have serious stability issues, etc.

They just don't seem to have a soul.

you have to TAP the button, and it will lob the ball.

My biggest issue in the football games is every fucking year, you can press the button to pass a full second before the d-man gets there, the QB will make the entire fucking throwing motion, yet hold on to the ball and get sacked. WHY oh WHY can't they fix this?

is the one thing that pisses me off more than anything

I love running 3 and 4 WR sets with a lot of short Wes Welker-type passes over the middle

In real life, quick guys like him, Steve Smith and Randle El can find space between the the linebackers and safeties and consistently find seams on the 12-15 yard routes

MLBs with eyes in the bag of their heads, superglue hands and Dwight Howard verticals render this part of the game incredibly frustrating

The lack of touch on passes plays in to this...Its either bullet passes or lollipop lobs...most NFL QB's can get the ball over the first layer of coverage but under the second layer without gunning it in there like a fucking hydrogen bomb

At least EA updated the latest version of Madden for the PC with new generation graphics. No, wait, they just rereleased the previous version.

At least EA finally updated Tiger Woods for the PC to include uploading a picture of yourself into game face. No, wait, they just rereleased the '05 version with a different menu skin.

EA stopped making games for the PC several years ago... not like this effects anyone but me though.
