Gravity: Doesn't exist. If items of mass had any impact of others, then mountains should have people orbiting them. Or the space shuttle in space should have the astronauts orbiting it. Of course, that's just the tip of the gravity myth. Think about it. Scientists want us to believe that the sun has a gravitation pull strong enough to keep a planet like neptune or pluto in orbit, but then it's not strong enough to keep the moon in orbit? Why is that? What I believe is going on here is this: These objects in space have yet to receive mans touch, and thus have no sin to weigh them down. This isn't the case for earth, where we see the impact of transfered sin to material objects. The more sin, the heavier something is. "

"One of the most basic laws in the universe is the Second Law of Thermodynamics. This states that as time goes by, entropy in an environment will increase. Evolution argues differently against a law that is accepted EVERYWHERE BY EVERYONE. Evolution says that we started out simple, and over time became more complex. That just isn't possible: UNLESS there is a giant outside source of energy supplying the Earth with huge amounts of energy. If there were such a source, scientists would certainly know about it."

Water-tight logic here, people. That's good science.

"We have deformed skulls to prove that these aliens once had ape-like foreheads, and some walked on 2 legs and others walked on 4 legs. And since there have been confirmed sightings of alien spacecraft, that proves that they have come back to check on how things are going on planet earth.

We don't know who the first alien was, but from the few skulls and bones we have, we can tell that there were millions of them. Then when they had explored planet earth, they found it boring and decided to leave but not before some of them had died here which is why we still have their skulls and bones. From them, we can tell what they wore, what color eyes they had, and that they were covered in hair. These are what evolutionists call facts, so we've proven that aliens once ruled the planet earth." I'm not talking about a simple power outage. I'm talking about enriched plutonium which comes from the conversion of uranium into WMD. It is considered the most dangerous substance known to man and absolutely will shut off the electricity present in planes. All any terrorist has to do is drop large quantities of plutonium from airplanes onto American soil and it will render electricity completely useless. And the chain reaction that will occur from the US shutting down will be global. We Americans have had the capacity to do that to our enemies for years. I had erroneoulsy thought that atheists knew that since they claim to know so much about our universe. But as usual, you haven't thought things through at all and are speaking from ignorance again."

I was watching a documentary on HBO on a group called Hard as Nails. They seem pretty in your face and hardcore/scary. I am a Christian but I try not to beat others up (this was to help other feel what jesus felt going to the cross)and call out fat people just to make them cry about being fat.

yeah i saw that a couple weeks back. that guy was a little over the top i'd say.

i was raised a christian, more so on values than on the word. I tend to just disregard religion as a whole and keep my religious opinions to myself and not discriminate.

I refuse to believe that anybody can be that stupid. I simply cannot bring myself to believe that all of the people who made those comments are completely oblivious to their own hypocrisy and circular logic. Some of these have got to be sarcasm and/or parody.

I was raised southern baptist. It was scary. My mom is disappointed in me because I went to grad school instead of getting married and staying home to have lots of kids.

I can't find a church that's liberal enough for my liking so I don't go.

yeah, that quote is laughable...mainly these quotes make me angry because of their self-assuredness...gosh I hate how fundamentalists can accept ridiculous propositions as truth and self-righteously condemn people who believe differently...yet they can never lose arguments because they don't believe in logic, only the Bible

well, that IS true of the fundamentalists...for those of us with common sense, logic and religion aren't necessarily at odds, nor does reality get thrown out the window with the excuse that faith is the answer when you don't even understand the question
