good luck DaJuanhopefully DeAndre will ball out next yearit would be pretty sweet to have TWO alumni sets of brothers in the NFL
1/9/2008 2:58:57 PM
Good to hear he is just an internship away from graduating. I wonder if "NFL player" would count for his internship credit so he can graduate (I believe he is a sports management major). He'll be missed as a key player on the D, but best of luck to him.
1/9/2008 2:59:28 PM
He will be missed! Good luck!
1/9/2008 3:01:10 PM

1/9/2008 3:21:37 PM

1/9/2008 3:22:19 PM
1/9/2008 3:24:08 PM
i had a few classes with him hes a pretty funny guy
1/9/2008 3:57:23 PM
for some reason I read this thread as "Dan Morgan going poo" and I was gonna reply "just like his career"
1/9/2008 3:57:59 PM
I really think he'd be a 2nd rounder had he stayed one more year. He probably would have been the best S in the ACC next year with Phillips leaving. But I guess it gives some of our younger guys a chance to play early. Might also change what we do with Brandon Barnes, might have to play him at S instead of trying him out at RB/WR.
1/9/2008 4:33:48 PM
^ eh Silva probably takes the best Safety in the ACC designation over Phillips, but he is gone too[Edited on January 9, 2008 at 4:44 PM. Reason : poor spelling ability]
1/9/2008 4:44:07 PM
but who will continue the tradition of dancing to Apache after a victory? i guess DeAndre has the job if he wants it.
1/9/2008 4:49:28 PM
You can't help but pull for this kid after all he's been through. Good luck Dajuan... you were a great Wolfpacker a extremely fun to watchDon't take your little brother with you just yet, though[Edited on January 9, 2008 at 5:04 PM. Reason : apparently I can't spell his name]
1/9/2008 5:00:30 PM
This loss hurts. Hopefully he'll run well and move up some. Always good to have guys going in the draft and get us some attention even on the down years.
1/9/2008 5:03:47 PM
he asked me to email my 20 page report to him once in summer 07[Edited on January 9, 2008 at 5:05 PM. Reason : i just sent him like 3 pages of a rough draft cause i didnt feel comfortable giving him all of it]but i agree with jnpaul...he is a funny guy[Edited on January 9, 2008 at 5:06 PM. Reason : .]
1/9/2008 5:05:10 PM

1/9/2008 5:19:15 PM

1/9/2008 5:23:57 PM
Good for him. Bad for us. He figured to be a baller next year. Hopefully Jimmal Simmons can step in and fill the void.^^^ Whatever dude. He was always winning the best lifter awards during the Day of Champions at the beginning of the seasons he was here. Add to that the fact that he can run a sub 4.4 40 and he'll be money as a free safety somewhere. I agree with his assessment in that he'll definitely move up a round after he performs at the combine. I think this year was just the tip of the iceberg as far as his potential. That's why it sucks that he's leaving with a year of eligibility left.[Edited on January 9, 2008 at 5:31 PM. Reason : asdf]

1/9/2008 5:29:10 PM
meh, they're alright, only get press because their teams are in the playoffs though, if they both played for Buffalo we wouldnt have heard of them again
1/9/2008 5:31:46 PM
I've heard of McCargo again and he plays for the bills...
1/9/2008 5:32:45 PM

1/9/2008 5:46:54 PM
Jamarcus Russell is EASILY the best former-SEC quarterback in the NFL
1/9/2008 5:48:26 PM
now that is true, I read it somewhere
1/9/2008 5:50:33 PM
Should have been Tee Martin. His career did not take off like I predicted.
1/9/2008 5:51:46 PM
I still can't believe someone drafted that Brady kid from Michigan
1/9/2008 5:57:45 PM
they were no 3 time Heisman winner Ron Powlus

1/9/2008 6:29:06 PM
The NFL scouts think he will be a fourth round selection, but if he performs well in the combine he could rise to the 3rd round, perhaps even late 2nd round. I'll admit that I am selfish and wish he came back, but it's not that bad of a move for him. He's already been in a car accident in high school that could have cost him his football career. Better to strike while the iron is hot and get paid than get possibly get hurt. Besides he's got his academics in order to graduate.

Like we have room to talk. Hell look in the NFL at Koren. Then look at one that should have been NFL in TA.
1/10/2008 1:37:06 AM
There aren't really any awesome safeties entering the draft this year so this is probably a pretty smart move for him. Good luck DaJuan we will miss you Well I guess Silva and the kid at Miami but I can't think of any others offhand[Edited on January 10, 2008 at 1:41 AM. Reason : .]
1/10/2008 1:40:17 AM
Morgan is the man, I hope he runs well also and gets top 3 rounds for financial purposes. If he had stayed next year he would have been top 2 rounds but why do that when we are going to possibly stink anyways? Make that money son. Also if anything he will be a great special teamer. remember the morgan wave 2 years ago on kickoffs?
