ummm... I'm not sure how that is what we're talking aboutbut, sureit could probably be helpful for inexpensively meeting people on the internet and flying to have sex with themI was just gonna go see my friend in Brooklyn (they have flights to Newburgh, NY and I'm sure I could get a train from there)too bad I still have to connect in Columbus to get to Milwaukee
1/8/2008 12:43:30 PM
that's awesome
1/8/2008 12:44:32 PM
well its only mostly awesomebe wary of where these flights are ACTUALLY goingNY is Newburgh, NYLA is Burbank, CABoston is actually Portsmouth, NHNew Orleans is Gulfport-Biloxi, MSso a lot of these trips are going to require secondary travel that reduces some of these savingsbut if you're already renting a car this makes more sense

i thought that only the first like, ten seats on the plane were the cheap seats....
1/8/2008 12:49:13 PM
the first ten seats are $10then it ranges from like $25-120 dependinga lot of times its like $25-40 one-way
1/8/2008 12:50:55 PM
oh ok, my mom works at the gso airport and she was just telling me that the regular priced seats are more like 150-200.....she is most likely wrong though
1/8/2008 12:51:59 PM
i wanted to go to seattle sometime in spring, but skybus said their flights there from gboro are temporarily on hold due to fuel costs

well it depends on where you're going and when you book it (like all airlines)flights to LA were like $100-120I didn't see anything near $200I'm looking online (the only place they book flights)

my mom also told me that they charge for food and drinks on the plane, and won't let you bring your own on either....i don't see how they could regulate someone from bringing on a bottle of water though.....
1/8/2008 12:56:42 PM
1/8/2008 12:57:07 PM
I don't eat on planes very much and most flights aren't more than 2 hours anywayI'd bring my own water, for sure
1/8/2008 12:57:36 PM
ravaging pwnage
1/8/2008 12:58:07 PM
^^^^^ i hadn't checked back recently...they removed seattle altogether
1/8/2008 12:58:52 PM
yeah, i was just thinking about how this summer, i unfortunately had to fly when i was sick, and i kept having to buy $5 bottle of waters after i got through secuirty because i was dehydrated. i'd be mad if i had to throw those out before i got on the plane. so if you medically need the water, they shouldn't be able to deny that to you....
1/8/2008 12:59:42 PM
i take an empty nalgene through security and fill it up on the other side when i flyif they refused me to do that, id be kina pissed
1/8/2008 1:00:29 PM
yeah i only thought of doing that afterwards!
1/8/2008 1:01:35 PM
yeah i saw someone doing it right after the restrictions went into place, and haven't not done it since.with flying ~20-40 times a year, it's really worth picking one up, if just for that cause

Two cheezits and a sip of coffee?
1/8/2008 1:24:55 PM
I've never heard of Skybus before in my life. And a note about the L.A. flight actually going to Burbank. Unless you're planning on going to the south bay (Manhattan, Hermosa Beach etc) you're 10 times better off going to Burbank. More than 10, like 30 times.
1/8/2008 1:39:21 PM
Just lick each cheez it and be like "They are welcome to have some if they want to"
1/8/2008 1:41:11 PM
Damn, Richmond is near DC on their map
1/8/2008 2:07:52 PM
yeah...skybus flies into regional airports, which some people might not realizeBRING BACK SEATTLE, YOU CHEAP BASTARDS!
