With commentary this asinine, you make a great aspiring election pundit.
1/8/2008 3:26:38 AM
and this is why she wont win in new hampshirealong with her fake ass crying bologna
1/8/2008 3:30:18 AM
shes on the defensive
1/8/2008 11:12:21 AM
she looked worn out yesterday, almost pleading for votes.i'm not a fan of schadenfreude, but I'm loving this implosion (with full awareness that Super-Tuesday could change everything.)
1/8/2008 11:15:17 AM
i thought this thread was going to be about her fake tears http://tinyurl.com/2nupkv]
1/8/2008 11:24:13 AM
i'm not buying that she was faking the cryingthat would play in the sexists' hands too easilythey WANT a woman to cry so they can point at it as a sign of "weakness"[Edited on January 8, 2008 at 11:30 AM. Reason : +]
1/8/2008 11:29:55 AM
well if she shed real tears of emotion based on that, i wonder what type of nervous breakdown she'd have as soon as a legitimate worry came up in the white houseand yeah, no quotation marks needed, it IS a sign of weakness]
1/8/2008 11:30:47 AM
haha yeah rightwhen a coach cries at the end of a game (regardless of the outcome) it's not perceived the same way[Edited on January 8, 2008 at 11:35 AM. Reason : ]
1/8/2008 11:33:06 AM
when you are president of the united states and are making important decisions for the country and you start crying, it is definitely a sign of weaknessi'm not talking about if your parents die or something, i'm talking about the piddly shit that hillary was supposedly crying over...her feelings being hurt]
1/8/2008 11:36:25 AM
and when she's strong and direct, people call her a bitchso she really can't winhellif obama was a woman, he would have been out of this a long time ago[Edited on January 8, 2008 at 11:42 AM. Reason : +]
1/8/2008 11:40:29 AM
i'd rather have a bitch who could put her foot down in power than somebody who was overly emotionalbut yes, hopefully she really can't winwe saw how well showing lots of emotion worked for howard dean's presidential chances]
1/8/2008 11:44:09 AM
we saw how a 3 second soundbite can ruin a guy
1/8/2008 11:47:08 AM
BEEEEEEEEEEE-YAAAAA!!!!!!!!
1/8/2008 11:51:39 AM
^^ well thats just because that is about the same amount of time as the average americans attention span
1/8/2008 11:52:44 AM
1/8/2008 11:54:11 AM
up until yesterday, she's been perpetually criticized for being this "bitch character" it's always been "hillary has a penis" stuff since day one

that crying stint will hurt her more than she realizesPRESIDENTS DONT FUCKING CRY
1/8/2008 12:31:30 PM
women cry at the drop of a hateveryone knows this
1/8/2008 12:43:54 PM
Jimmy Dugan: Are you crying? Are you crying? ARE YOU CRYING? There's no crying! THERE'S NO CRYING IN BASEBALL!Doris Murphy: Why don't you give her a break, Jimmy...Jimmy Dugan: Oh, you zip it, Doris! Rogers Hornsby was my manager, and he called me a talking pile of pigshit. And that was when my parents drove all the way down from Michigan to see me play the game. And did I cry?Evelyn Gardner: No, no, no.Jimmy Dugan: NO. NO. And do you know why?Evelyn Gardner: No...Jimmy Dugan: Because there's no crying in baseball. THERE'S NO CRYING IN BASEBALL! No crying![Edited on January 8, 2008 at 1:27 PM. Reason : ]

This thread makes me want to vote for Clinton.
1/8/2008 1:48:05 PM
after hearing her pseudo break down, she actually dropped the voice inflection and start to sound like a real personi was shocked that she could sound like a human being

1/9/2008 9:54:18 AM
The Daily Show had a good clip of Nixon, Bush Sr., and Dog the Bounty Hunter crying. So yeah...
1/9/2008 9:58:56 AM
Men are held to a different standard than women. Like it or not, a woman crying comes off as way more weak than a man crying.
1/9/2008 10:00:40 AM
the cyring was fake...and it doesnt make her look weak in my opinion...it makes her look like she will do anything for votes...again]
1/9/2008 10:04:29 AM
I thought it looked mostly legit. People just want to give her shit for anything they can think of.
1/9/2008 10:06:44 AM
even if its a completely legit reason to give her shit, like if the crying was real and she got that emotional over something meaningless, what would she do when actually faced with an important choice
1/9/2008 10:34:52 AM
Well, seeing as her tears seemed to stem from a love of her country, I wouldn't find that as too much of a bad thing. She feels like the country is going down the shitter and she wants to make a difference because she loves it. I know I've felt like crying over how things have gone over the past 7 years or so because I love America so much and I don't cry easily.
1/9/2008 10:37:50 AM
n/m[Edited on January 9, 2008 at 10:40 AM. Reason : gotta be trolling]
1/9/2008 10:39:42 AM
I wonder what she meant when she said she "finally found her voice"?Has she figured out that she might've found a winner by tapping in to her few remaining scraps of femininity? Ratchet up the emotional appeals to women. Talk less about policy positions and more about touchy feely stuff. Carry a baby around with you on the stump. Cry a few more times over the down-trodden. Get that heart out of it's box and slap it on your sleeve.Could be the ticket for her.
1/9/2008 10:48:03 AM
Show a side of her that people have been criticizing her for not showing before? Now they'll criticize her for being a woman. I don't know which is worse.
1/9/2008 10:51:15 AM
strange, she didn't ever seem to show any emotion when the entire country knew that her husband constantly cheated on her...I guess her PR people are doing a good job now though, cause some of you people actually believe her
1/9/2008 11:37:42 AM
What was she supposed to do? He was the president. What do you think Laura Bush would do if George got a blowjob from an intern?
1/9/2008 11:40:29 AM
Was she being sincere? probably not... Can you be 100% sure about that? HELL NO. Funny how some know-it-alls try to act like they have some sort of divine 6th sense where they can read the minds of others. She's a politician, just like all the others running.I gotta give her props for bringing her tone down to that of a normal woman... apparently it didn't affect her negatively!
1/9/2008 11:47:32 AM
when all the lewinsky shit was in the news, plenty of people didnt think too favorably of bill clinton...sure plenty of other people didnt think it was that big of a deal, but i think if she had left him or filed for divorce or something at that time, people would respect her more as a person]
1/9/2008 12:34:24 PM
^ Respect her more for going through a divorce or for actually believing her wedding vows and working through an incredibly difficult situation to keep her marriage together? If she would have gotten a divorce you'd probably say people would respect her more for trying to work things out with Bill instead of jumping ship...
1/9/2008 12:50:02 PM
you honestly believe their wedding vows mean shit to either one of them?i think people wouldve respected her for standing up for herself when it was clear that her husband was not faithful to her with numerous other women]
1/9/2008 12:53:53 PM
I gave up a long time ago because she's damned no matter what she does. If she cured cancer people would ask why not AIDS.
1/9/2008 12:56:06 PM
you know how when all the kobe bryant rape stuff was out, his wife stayed with him and everybody knew it was because they had a pre-nup and she didnt want her lifestyle to turn to shit? well people wouldve respected kobe's wife more if she had gotten a divorce, for being her own person and not putting up with cheating...but she's not dumb, she'd rather stay with him and live in a mansion and buy whatever she wantsi think it was similar with hillary, although not so much for the money as the power...the smart thing was to stick with him because she stayed publicly and politically relevant, but i think she wouldve gotten more respect if she had left which mightve helped her nowbut also the image, whether sincere or not, of a 'typical family' of a wife and husband is a lot more appealing to the general public than someone divorced...i think thats gonna end up killing giulliani...although power hungry people like giuliani and the clintons are probably married to politics more than any individual person]
1/9/2008 1:12:02 PM
1/9/2008 1:26:29 PM
how the fuck is that a contradiction?
1/9/2008 1:35:09 PM
^^^ Or maybe they do actually value the sanctity of marriage. Oh wait, they're all liberal flakes, that can't be possible...
1/9/2008 4:41:48 PM
1/9/2008 4:50:47 PM
1/9/2008 4:55:09 PM
Who cares about their marriage? They don't go around preaching how their marriage is perfect or anything. Let them have their loveless marriage, if it is indeed that, and focus on the issues.BTW, I don't like Clinton very much, I just don't care for this 'days of our live' bullshit.
1/9/2008 5:00:27 PM
Apparently there's a positive correlation between number of extramarital blowjobs and quality of leadership.
