Their saving account has a relatively high interest rate from what I remember. It's like Citibank's E-savings account.

its 5.05%. I just opened up one with them today. I also have a checking account with them that got me 4%, but now its only 3.6% which is weak.

^so that rate is variable or is it locked in if you get it at a certain time. I'm not very financially savvy...I just know to save money and pay shit on time.

Capital Bank over at cameron village has a checking account with 5% interest. It's also potentially variable, but it's been steady now for as long as I can remember.

i have a capital one money market account. Interest rate started off with 5% now down to 4.00%
