Rudy mentions 9/11 in record time.

zinger of the night from Huckabee "WHICH ONE"
1/5/2008 7:30:52 PM
The look of contempt from McCain when Ron Paul was talking about 10 minutes ago was great.
1/5/2008 7:58:09 PM
Well Romney basically blew the pharmaceutical companies there, he should be sure to get a big donation now
1/5/2008 8:02:16 PM

McCain:"When you change positions on issues often you will get misquoted from time to time."
1/5/2008 8:16:31 PM
Jesus, they are giving Romney too much time.

1/5/2008 8:34:23 PM
Wow McCain is laying some serious punches on MesserschMitt, he looked like he was about to loose his Mormon greasy-hair cool for a second there!
1/5/2008 8:41:50 PM
Rudy just pronounced China as Chiner.
1/5/2008 8:41:59 PM
"We all know that you are the candidate of change"owned!
1/5/2008 8:43:44 PM
McCain and Thompson look like they just had fun the entire time while Mitt could see his entire campaign slipping away
1/5/2008 8:44:37 PM
Thompson came across as a grumpy old man imo. He lost me completely when he even uttered the notion of opening up oil reserves (including the Alaskan Wildlife Refuge).
1/5/2008 8:51:14 PM
I think he was referring to the strategic oil reserves. Why doesn't he give up, I hear he really doesn't give a shit if he wins anyway.[Edited on January 5, 2008 at 8:53 PM. Reason : .]

Wow ... I thought mccain looks silly there, laughing to himself as he gave weak jabs to romney ...All this hypocritical talk of personal attack ads, and mccain shows his true colors, as expected, on national tv. Only difference between huckabee, mccain, and romney, is that Romney is actually respectful to people, and pays for his negative ads, while mccain and huckabee just utilize free air time to get out their negative ads.
1/5/2008 9:25:33 PM
Obama and Edwards tag team on Hillary."...now that you're behind..."Richardson: "I've been in hostage negotiations that were alot more civil than this"
1/5/2008 9:36:32 PM
Pulling troops out right now would be a complete blood bath for the Iraqis. Out of the democrats, Obama has the best plan for Iraq.
1/5/2008 9:46:35 PM
So what?
1/5/2008 9:51:48 PM
^you do realize we still get oil from that region?
1/5/2008 9:55:12 PM
^^^^Haha, what homer. Romney got jaw jacked and you still think he came out of that okI have to admit that edwards is doing the best in this debate. Everyone else has stilted and disorganized answers.[Edited on January 5, 2008 at 10:01 PM. Reason : We get oil from Iraq? news to me]

Hillary Clinton would ruin this country if she was elected Pres....John Edwards is the clear choice in my opinion !![Edited on January 5, 2008 at 10:41 PM. Reason : .]
1/5/2008 10:40:43 PM
Edwards has a snowballs chance in hell.....he will be third in NH, third in SC(Obama takes the blacks and the young, Hillary takes some of the whites and blacks and the old) that leaves Edwards with the angry white men.....you should be pulling for Obama if you dont want Hillary, Edwards doesnt have a chance.
1/5/2008 10:44:23 PM
1/5/2008 10:50:57 PM
Roddy - What happen in Iowa ? your analogy doesn't hold water.....
1/5/2008 10:52:58 PM
he got 30%, WOW(Hillary got 29%, he really creamed her!).....and Obama beat him when poor Edwards had been campaigning in the state for years for this election and he barily beat Clinton who was very late campaigning in the state. Even Obama hadnt been in Iowa all that much before this election...must of hurt. All polls show it is almost tied or Obama is ahead in NH, and Edwards is still around 20%. He might of gain a point or two but he is still way behind brining up the rear. They angry populist has gotten old. With Obama in the picture, he has no chance in SC either, most likely another third something similiar to Ohio...where he can claim he "beat" Clinton....rumor is if he does bad in SC he is drop out and support Obama.[Edited on January 5, 2008 at 11:10 PM. 1/5/2008 11:05:41 PM
I see him holding on til NV (lots of union support out there) but i dont see him supporting obama. not sure if he'll even throw his support behind either of them....
1/5/2008 11:14:44 PM
Highly doubtful Edwards will support either of the two, with Obama having a slight slight chance.
1/5/2008 11:33:25 PM
He will support obama

Paul was the only one of the Republicans that really made any sense. The rest of them basically spent half their time arguing over the definition of amnesty. Thompson is worthless in my opinion, he has nothing to add to the race. Huckabee seemed more like the guy who was a second tier candidate before he won Iowa by courting religious nutcases. Giuliani actually made a couple reasonable comments that came across as more moderate than the rest of the guys, but he won't shut up about 9/11...seems like that's his only trick in the bag. I thought most of McCain's jabs at Romney were petty and made him look immature, someone I wouldn't want running this country. Romney fielded them well, held the high ground, but still comes across as a slick-willy type IMO. I think a few of his comments seemed a little cheesy (about how everyone on the stage agrees about this and that) but he seemed to come out the winner.I think Obama had a weak showing, he seemed tired and a few of his answers didn't follow a good line of reasoning. Hillary came out very defensive, almost angry at times, but had an ok finish. I still don't think this helped her any. Poor Richardson, he has a lot of relevant experience and honestly I think if he was a white guy he'd be leading the race. He had a good showing but I think he realizes at this point there's no chance he will win, he's just trying to get as much face time as possible so he can ride on some coat tails. I think Edwards was the clear Dem winner, he was the only one who had any energy and stayed true to his message. He made a couple clean attacks against Hillary, nothing too petty, but also played nice with everyone while getting his points across clearly.Having the Dems and Repubs back to back like that really makes it clear that all the Repubs seem to care about is hate against brown skinned people. Kill Arabs and kick out all the Mexicans. Oh and love for Jebus of course.
1/6/2008 9:18:03 PM
richardson has zero charisma... white, brown, yellow, or purple, there is no way that he is leading the race.
