i have an ibm (lenovo) laptop and i love the keyboardare there any desktop sized keyboards that feel the same as their laptop keyboards?the only thing that i can find is the space saver keyboard but that only gets me a version without the number pad on the side and they are a bit expensiveim close to just fabricating my own with the largest laptop keyboard they make. does anyone know anything about the interface (ribbon cable that plugs into the motherboard)? i would guess ps/2 but im not sure ive been googling and not really turning up anything

I found it. You may not want to pay for it, but I found it. http://www.pckeyboard.com bought the keyboard technology from LexMark in the 90's and have produced new versions of the Model M type desktop keyboards since then. They've got the Mighty Mouse desktop keyboard which is the keyboard from an ibm/lenovo laptop in a desktop form factor. They also have versions with trackpoint and some different colors. http://pckeyboards.stores.yahoo.net/mightymouse1.html-- Dave

Find an older IBM UltraNav Keyboard. Like the one listed here: http://www.amazon.com/IBM-USB-Keyboard-UltraNav-31P8950/dp/B00009APTKIt has your infamous ThinkPad style 104 keys, NUM pad, and red trackpoint (it's there, just can't see it well in pic). I have one for my office.[Edited on January 9, 2008 at 1:01 PM. Reason : more detail...]
