My friend (he's like 41) has TONS of music on iTunes ($Texas). Buys a new iPod and it won't work with his old-as-dirt computer like his old iPod did. So he moves iTunes to the new laptop. But wait - DRM says you can't move all the music. lovely.

You can only move things that you downloaded from them. You can however, get programs that will allow for this. Or you could just transfer it as an mp3 via disc/flash etc.

you could also just transfer the hard drive into the new in an open spot. Or you could set up a network between the two and move them.
