Lawyer: "So, first things first...you didn't do it, did you? "
Killer: "Uhh...nope. "
Lawyer: "Alright. Here's your defense..."



I mean when it's obvious some guy mass-murdered 12 school children, what souled human being, even a lawyer, could agree to defend the person?

due process and such, I know, but I've always wondered how this works

the first thing any good defense attorney learns is to not know who is guilty or innocent

in that situation don't they just sit down and figure out the best scenario for punishment? IE plead insanity to avoid the death penalty or something

it doesnt matter

its YOUR lawyer

its their job to work to get you out of something whether their client did it or not.
