Legends is great. Or Stool Pigeons. The folks at both bars are largely indistinguishable.

I don't understand everyone's fascination with ruckus. Once you get 10 people in there it gets too loud to hear yourself speak, and too crowded to move.

Agreed. Fun place to go when it's quiet, but I don't like having to scream to talk to someone I'm next to.

The Bar in mission valley is having some crazy special action going on on new year's, I don't remember exactly what all it is but it's basically every special from the week rolled into one night plus a free champagne toast and some prizes at midnight
