when they copied the matiz, the faux company produced great quantities of fake parts under the real brand name and sold them to unsuspecting customers.

when there was a failure of said part, the real company got blamed.

it's terrible doing business in china.

Developing countries copy developed countries until they become developed. Japan copied the shit out of american stuff until they got up to speed and started kicking our asses. Better yet, America stole the shit out of British technology when they were leading the industrial revolution. Gotta love capitalism and competition

I like how most of those copycats were a pretty obvious match, then the rest were just kinda similar looking vehicles (like those SUV's, lots of companies made hideous, boxy SUV's in the 90's through early 00's).
