Anyone have a casio exilim? I am wanting to get a digital camera around this price range but wanted some opinions. I've read online reviews, but i only trust tww.

you know, I had one of those and for the form factor it takes really good pictures..
anything above iso 400 is pretty damn noisy, but that's what you get.
Search on flickr for that camera type and see what you think of the pictures

i got the sd1000 on sale for 150 (not too much more expensive normally priced). i've been very pleased with it thus far. some have had an issue with the lcd screen randomly cracking for no reason. this hasn't happened to me yet. but apparently it happened to spookyjon.

I recommend Nikon cameras. Mine is great. They have models in your price range, too.

DPreview is a goddamn good site that should always be consulted when evaluating a camera.

endorsement of DPR's awesome > the hit-or-miss of google results

He did all but the two (maybe three) clicks required to get directly to the review of the exilim. A far cry from just linking to google

in all basic terms, you really can't go wrong with any of the large camera manufacturers. Digital cameras these days are pretty advanced and you'd be hard pressed to find a really shitty one (minus camera phones).
