where you come into problems would be the temps of twin turbo headers within a wooden chassis. It would fail certainly.. but not for the reason you cited.
12/19/2007 11:48:19 AM
hey at least it wont get into a fender bender
12/19/2007 11:49:13 AM
yep, wood is no longer a common body/chassis material but it used to be
12/19/2007 11:49:20 AM
yeah, wood was a material.back in, oh i dont know, 1700s when cars would go 10mph.
12/19/2007 11:51:45 AM
yep, im definitely not saying it was a good idea
12/19/2007 11:52:30 AM
yeah it wouldn't work but with cnc machines etc. i'm sure you could make a pretty impressive and strong frame... now wooden springs and a wooden engine would be difficult.but seriously strength wouldn't be a problem if designed right... fire would be.
12/19/2007 11:55:54 AM
lol wooden springs.... leaf springs possibly, still a poor idea...wooden engine? not a chance in hellfire would definitely be a problem
