and you actually aren't...how do you respond? Oh, and this is spawned from a few playful text messages to a co-worker who happens to be female.

well if shes adamant that you're cheating then she is way insecure and doesn't trust you

sounds like she needs to work that out first

an ex accused me of it, and i didn't say a thing. I actually had.

the current accused me of it, and I hadn't. I playfully said, "she was great, too!" This spawned more accusations, to which I said "NO I DID NOT. I LOVE YOU AND WOULD NOT DO THAT." Make fun of me for saying it, but I meant it, and it ended the convo.

She obviously doesn't trust you, which is a bad thing for any relationship. Tell her to get her shit together or gtfo. But on the other hand, if you play your cards right you could invite your coworker over for a threesome.

What is she doing reading your txt messages?
Apparently, she already didn't trust you.

this is cheating bro. anything that you would not want your SO to know about qualifies as cheating. so you cheated and live with the fact knowing that she can fuck anybody she wants at any time to spite you. be careful! and don't kill yourself when you find out the hard way!

that's how i figured out my ex was fooling around. she got up to go to the bathroom one night and her phone went off. picked it up, saw it was a text from dude, opened it up and the proverbial worms came spewing out.

Just sending txt messages or flirting with someone isn't cheating. It may be suspicious, but it's a far cry from emotional or physical betrayal.

Well, my husband and I do not hide those kind of things from one another. We'll both come home and relay what happened to one another. I think that it's a really insecure person who freaks out over harmless flirtations and playfulness. It makes me feel good that someone besides my husband finds me attractive after being with the same guy for 5 years and it makes me feel good that some other woman finds my husband attractive. We'll both go out separately and have a good time without 'breaking any rules' and then come home to each other.

if he tells you and you tell him thats FINE. but if it is something that you just up and find out about that has been happening for sometime, you are stupid to think its innocent.

I absolutely flirt with people that wouldn't have sex with in a million years. There's nothing wrong with entertaining yourself and making someone else feel good about themselves.

has your gf had anyone cheat on her before?
because I know I'm a lot more suspicious about things now than I was a few years ago, before I'd been cheated on (that I knew about anyways)

also, does she know this girl youre exchanging these "playful" texts with?
cause i know i'm a lot more suspicious (without much reasoning needed) of girls I don't know/haven't met - because I haven't seen how they interact with my boyfriend. I'm more likely to get irritated about something done/said because I don't know them, so I don't know if its actually joking or not.

a cheater is gonna cheat no matter what

don't sweat it

you can worry about it and they'll still find a way

or you can just not worry about it and be much happier

i dont get why dudes would cheat on a female...i probably say that cause i cant get one gf, so the idea of having more than one female to have sex with is foreign to me

sometimes it gets old

it's much easier to just leave her though
