I explained it was part of a phenomenon, described the whole lolcat thing, and he started to walk away.To drive it home I googled lolcat and read the search result out to him.He almost dropped his beer.

He laughed?
12/15/2007 9:39:25 PM
It's unclear from the initial post whether he found lolcats funny or he dropped his beer and kicked your ass.

My Daddy LOOOVES the Monorail cat thread. I show it to him when I go home. He even says some of them in the right voices to make them even funnier. Makes me LOL just thinking about it. [Edited on December 15, 2007 at 9:43 PM. Reason : ]

I've called my parents "mom" and "dad" since I was about 9. But since my wife and I have kids, we refer to ourselves as "mommy" and "daddy." The other day I called my parents and dad picked up and I said "hey daddy." There was a pause for a second then he told me never to call him that again
12/15/2007 10:45:11 PM
