if it's what i think it is, i had it with dr. rouphail back in the day--it was ok, it's the only literature class i've take here, so, i can't really compare it to anything else. i liked her as a teacher more than i liked the material

I have ENG 222 with lisk right now. Essentially it seems to be the same class. If you need the Norton Anthology of Western Literature, I'll sell it to ya.

I had this class with Beckman and despite my overall non-interest in lit, she made the class fun and I learned a thing or two. We had class at IHOP one afternoon, too.

If you show up you can do well. There is a lot of daily writing assignments where she just wants to see what you think and there are no wrong answers, unless your not there and don't write anything. I would def suggest taking it with her.

Does this count toward the 200 level foreign language requirement? (i know it's a stretch - but I saw the FL)

no it's an english class in the FL department. it satisfies an english requirement.

It's not hard. she makes it interesting, do your work and you'll do well.
