Does this indicate anything about their personality?


I'm talking about guys who just won't drink beer, not ones who prefer liquor over beer etc.

There is such a vast spectrum of beer that I truly believe that there is a beer out there for everyone, even the die hard anti-beer (but still pro-alcohol) types.

one of my close friends will absolutely not touch beer but has no problem drinking liquor 6 nights a week.

we've made fun of him for years about it. he's 23 and just can't drink beer. his personality...umm he's goofy acting and looking but somehow a lot of women want to sleep with him.

Alcohol poisoning will make you shy away from beer. It took me two years to be able to stomach it and three years to start enjoying it again. Somewhere during that period I turned to the dark side (liquor) and I rarely drink beer unless it is accompanying a meal nowadays. I drank a 12 pack of Newcastle over the last two weeks, but that was just one or two with dinner and whatnot. Drinking beer to get drunk is too much work.

i like either Heinken, Corona or Blue Moon. kansas city has a good beer too. boulevard. it's good stuff. thing about beer is the pounds sneak up after weeks of drinking 3-4 beers a night. i stopped this along time ago.

i prefer a glass of rum on the rocks.

I'm convinced that it's because they have only tried crappy beers, and won't open their mind (or wallet) to better beers.

I can certianly understand not liking a kind of alcoholic beverage though. I think wine tastes like shit personally.

I find beer too bitter. It also doesn't help that the two times I did drink something alcoholic, I overdid it by a land slide. Now I get nauseous anytime I even smell alcohol.

I just explained why some people don't like certain alcoholic beverages, then said I don't like wine, probably for the same reason.

I don't like wine because I have never had any that I would consider good. Every wine that I have tried tastes very similar to me, and I'll try it any time It's offered. I'm sure there's a wine out there that I would love.

Actually the only wines that I can passably enjoy are the sweeter wines like Duplin, which I gather most wine aficionados scoff at.

Perhaps I should have expanded a little more.

Not drinking beer does not necessarily make any rulings on personality.

Sunlight, along with the riboflavin in the beer, catalyzes some hops, acids, and sulfur compounds to produce 3-methyl-2-butene-1-thiol(MBT). MBT is very similar if not the same as the thiol produced by skunks. Human detection of MBT is extremely small, in the parts per million. Some
people can even detect MBT in parts per trillion, or after the slightest exposure to light.
