I've been giving some thought to pawning off my gun (Bersa Thunder 380). Obviously Uncle Sam wants me to be a compliant patriot and let him know when the gun changes hands, so I'm sure that there will be paperwork for me to fill out. What sort of forms do I need and where can I get them?

don't pawn your guntrade it or sell it you need to acquire a purchase permit from the buyer, copy of their DL, and if they have one a copy of their CCWPPS: FUCK UNCLE SAM[Edited on December 11, 2007 at 6:39 PM. Reason : buyer has to have the paperwork, you keep it for your records]

ok say i have this friend that has a gun for 10 bucks for sale...how hard would it be for me to buy it?

pawn shops will not give shit $$, especially for a Bersa Thunder

What about selling it to a gun store? My first thought was to try to take it to PDHSC to see what I could get for it.

Forgive my ignorance, but what's consignment?

they sell it for you, for a % of the sales pricebut you will still get more than you would trading it in or selling outright
12/11/2007 6:46:17 PM
they sell it for you, then get a small fee of what you get.[Edited on December 11, 2007 at 6:46 PM. Reason : ^]

Go to your nearest gun shop and talk to the owner or worker there. He will give you the best and most simple advice.
