^^ I can understand that. I'm the Director of a building in a retirement community. I can't just leave in the middle of the day without someone knowing where I am. It would be my luck there was an emergency while I was gone. Boss is good about letting you leave as long as he knows where you are and how to get in touch with you if he needs you, but you need a valid reason.

And I'm always on call... even when I'm not "technically" on call. But I love my job so it's ok.

^ yeah, it is different. BUT we do have a lake, and I do walk around there at lunch sometimes, and it's huge campus (100+ acres) so if I need to go see someone in a different building I'll go outside on days like this.
