didn't phrase the topic as a riding lawn mower since i'm not going to use it to cut grass but yeah, it's the same thing minus the mowing deck. i'm looking for something to pull a small trailer, sprayer, aerator, etc. with. all i care about is a good running engine and strong drivetrain.

if i were you, i would look around for a cub cadet with or without the deck. those things are nearly indestructible! my family had a 1963 cub with a 10hp kohler and it lasted until last year when my brother started it after it had been in storage without checking the oil and blew it up.

yeah it's not worth the drive to Iredell to get it...needs constant carb adjustments, wont idle below 1500-1800ish, big parasitic draw from the battery, and the motor would probably let go at any moment
