I just got in a large load of these printers, so they're going cheap first come first serve! Each is fully tested and in great working shape. When it comes to speed and reliability you won't find anything better, whether your printing needs are large or small. These are the dual paper tray models, which are great for loading with both normal and letterhead/high quality/etc paper at once. Perfect for printing out large articles or reports regularly and are tired of paying for ink, easily shared with a whole house or office. Please note that these printers do NOT include toners! I have tested each unit with a good working toner to verify their operation and pagecount, but you will have to purchase an OEM toner before use. These tend to run around $30-40 on eBay, or a bit more locally.Specifications:1200x1200 DPI resolution8MB Ram17 Pages Per MinuteHP PCL 6, HP PCL 5e, Adobe PostScript Level 2Handle everything from 3x5" cardstock to LegalParallel, Serial, and 10/100 Ethernet interfacesMonthly Duty Cycle: 65,000HP EIO Jetdirect 600n 10/100 Ethernet cardAuto-Duplexing Module (some units)600 Sheet Input Capacity (2x 250 sheet trays, 100 manual feed)I have twenty of these available, 7 with duplexers.Asking $50 each! $20 additional for a machine with an auto-duplexing unit

Correction:The vast majority of these are Laserjet 4050's, which feature a faster formatter and 16MB ram standard. Not a large difference, but enough that I felt I should mention it. Average pagecount is around 60k.More Pictures:

I don't do a whole lot of printing, so if I were to get one of these and print maybe 20 pages a month, would I end up with a lot of wasted dried up toner? How long could I expect a toner cartridge to last, considering time and not pages?

duh, i should have thought about that. anyway, the 6 years seems cost-effective. thanks. now i just need to think about it for a day or two because i've already made an impulse purchase for this month

I've been using a 4000DN myself for the last 5 years, and have yet to change the toner. And I print 100-200 pages a month, heh.I usually purchase my toner from this seller on eBay. $28 shipped for a 10,000 page toner with a 1 year warranty.

Hmmm...$70 for one with a duplexer...tempting. I'll have to consider this for a minute.

very tempting. how big are these guys?
12/15/2007 12:34:35 PM
They're about 15"H x 15"W x 17"D. The duplexer adds another few inches to the depth if its installed. Really not bad, they're meant to fit easily on desks.

are you offering any type of warranty on the printers? there are other parts that could need service such as fuser, rubber roller wheel things, etc
12/17/2007 9:58:39 AM
30 day warranty, though depending on what problem you have I'll generally repair or replace them free of charge for 3-4 months out. I have no shortage of spare parts.HP recommends replacing the fuser and rubber rollers at 250k page intervals (though really they last a lot longer than that usually), and all of these machines are at least 50-100k pages away from needing anything done.
