It takes FOREVER (longer than the estimated 7-10 days). It's my fault entirely, but I was curious, so I tried.Next time, if there is one, I'm having it shipped to my door.I thought wal-mart prided themselves on efficiency.

Wal-Mart doesn't pride itself on anything but the bottom line.
12/6/2007 8:36:59 PM
You haven't heard? They're hiring Mexicans to walk the products to you.
12/6/2007 8:58:20 PM
^i can believe it.
12/6/2007 9:06:43 PM
i've heard horror stories about this service from walmart as well.
12/6/2007 9:13:10 PM
worked good for me, I got a bike within a week.
12/7/2007 1:01:57 AM
2.5 weeks late so far.
12/7/2007 1:54:03 PM
Shipping is just as bad. Had some sheets sent two weeks in advance, so they'd be there when I flew in for an internship. Weren't there, arrived two weeks later after I'd already bought some from ross. Then the fuckers refused to refund my shipping when I returned them.
12/8/2007 9:45:14 AM
u should've cancelled when u went out and bought new ones.[Edited on December 8, 2007 at 2:36 PM. Reason : .]

I haven't spent a dollar at wal-mart in about 5 years. I'm not even one of those people who is philosophically opposed to Wal-mart. It's just a shitty experience to have to put up with shopping there.
12/9/2007 8:09:24 AM
i absolutely hate going into a walmart. it is always packed with the lowest common denominator, and the place is always a horrible mess.good luck finding someone to help you if you need it.and then you wait 20 minutes standing in line half the time to buy your shitty products.

i always go late at night. i've never had a problem finding someone to help me. the lines are always horrendously long, b/c day or night, there are only 2 lanes open. i've left my items at the end caps and walked out a few times before.[Edited on December 9, 2007 at 12:57 PM. 12/14/2007 7:36:48 PM
I ordered 2 things site-to-store on Black Friday at the sale price, we had an email about it being there in 7 days. And even if the store has the product in stock, they will still send it site-to-store. I didn't feel like going through the ordeal of cancelling my $250 order online because the product was still in the store, so I just let them do the site-to-store. (I wanted to know how efficient it was also.) I was pleased.[Edited on December 14, 2007 at 8:43 PM. Reason : ]
