Thought this was interesting, and it didnt really fit in anyone else's topic.http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/football/2007-cost-per-win.htmO'Brien fits right in the bulk of the pack, but Minesota's coach, at the top has to be the best. I'd take a mill a year to win one game.

interesting list, but ultimately kindof useless.for example, bob stoops earns his salary, while gene chizik (right above him) doesn't really.

i thought weis made more than that

^ base salary and total compensation are two different things

so you're telling me whole comp. for tom o'brien exceeds 1.1 million?bullshitthis has to be KNOWN total compensation. base salary for NC coaches is only couple hundred thousand or so. other things not included.[Edited on December 6, 2007 at 3:51 PM. Reason : ]

no way weis only makes 675,000 a year. that cant include all compensation... for the coach of ND to make half what TOB makes is not possible
12/6/2007 7:29:24 PM
weis makes about 3.1 mil per year, so i'm not sure what they based that on

The writer of the article obviously sucks the ND cock, and didn't want them to be too high on the list of cost-per-win.Actually, if 3.1/3 = over 1 million.. they would be #1?[Edited on December 6, 2007 at 8:11 PM. Reason : Paul Johnson to remain at Navy.]
