http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/preliminaries/nccamerica/standings/index.htmlWe will get out of the first pod and it looks like as long as there are no upsets the simi-final groups should be... USA, Trinidad & Tobago, Guatemala, CubaMexico, Jamaica, Honduras, CanadaCosta Rica, Guyana, Panama, HatiIt looks like Costa Rica will have the easiest path to the simi-finals. The teams in group A and B really get screwed if everyone advances that is favored. My prediction for the final sixUSAGuatemalaMexicoCanadaCosta RicaPanamaUSA, Mexico, and Costa Rica advance. Guatemala doesn't choke at the end this time and goes to the playoff where they are eliminated by CONMEBOL #5.[Edited on November 30, 2007 at 12:28 AM. Reason : .]

The interesting match up is England vs Croatia in the UEFA qualifiers. Croatia was the team that beat England last week to eliminate them from Euro Cup 2008.

Canada! haven't seen the men's squad in an international event in a while, that is a victory in itself

^^Canada didn't look too bad against the USA in the Gold Cup. Their second goal was not offsides in the closing minutes, so we should have went to OT down a man (Bradley was red carded) tied at 2-2. They can hang with the top of CONCACAF if they play well.
