yea, there are bear hunters that come from the mountains to hunt black bear in jones county, near pollocksville, because the seasons are slightly off and they can hunt both areas.

I guess I'm not shocked, I just didn't realize it/ever think about it.I mean shit black bears used to roam around my neighborhood in NJ (only 35 miles outside of NYC) so they're definitely good at adapting to their surroundings
