Students at Montclair State U. in New Jersey will have to get cell phones and pay for them out of pocket.http://wcbstv.com/technology/cell.phone.montclair.2.595976.htmlHow shitty is this? The extra $420 added to the tuition is bad enough, but downright scary is the quote "What it does is allow students to have an extra pair or group of people watching over them when they're going from one location to another" by the local police chief. Would you want NC State watching your every move? I thought college students were adults, yet Montclair State sees it necessary to track them everywhere and keep them in touch at all times. It's your right not to be within reach if you choose, damn it! I turn my phone off at 10:00 every night because I'm done for the day; I wouldn't want a teacher or classmate bugging me when I'm winding down or trying to whack off.
