holy shit, when i went to bed last night they had just said he was finally responding and that the doctors had said his outlook was much better. and how the hell does it get more coverage when he was in the hospital, and he dies and i don't hear a word? just weird i guess.RIP, shitty way to go. and it sucks that ESPN would rather bash ricky williams for smoking fucking pot and dropping a ball in the rain than report on a murdered player.

I think its really sad. The guy really did have a pretty dangerous past thought and was with the wrong crowd from what I've heard. He was an awesome player for the Redskins, and a real up and coming safety that could have really been a great, great player. He never even hit his prime.
11/27/2007 9:41:57 AM
He was still one of the best safeties, especially this year - even with the injury. He was a trouble maker until he had his daughter, then he grew up. He hasn't gotten in an trouble recently.[Edited on November 27, 2007 at 9:53 AM. Reason : ]

Question... Why do you guys think he was murdered?Treetwista is in sportstalk saying it was because he was getting into some "thug shit"I doubt it was over some "thug shit"I'm gonna go check out some media outlets and blogs and try to see what's really goin on.
11/27/2007 10:31:39 AM
it had to be some shady shit...his house was robbed like 8 days prior
11/27/2007 10:36:13 AM
11/27/2007 10:40:10 AM
I'm just saying, it's unfair to say it's some "thug shit" just because he fucked up a few times in the past.I've made my fair share of mistakes also, but I definitely cleaned my act up.my post in other section:It was probably someone from his OLD life who didn't want to see him succeed as he was doing.Sean Taylor cleaned up his act, you could see it on the field - he was voted by veterans into a leadership position on the team - everyone could see the changes.I don't think it was random, I also don't think it was him being involved in some "thug shit"
11/27/2007 10:41:45 AM
dudemost people never truly changethey revert
11/27/2007 10:43:09 AM
The NFL is full of "thugs"The fact that Redskins VETERANS saw such a change that they voted him into leadership positions on the team says a lot. haters keep hating though, that's something that will never change
11/27/2007 10:46:52 AM
shit, I thought he was in stable condition Terrell Owens was terrified of this guy
11/27/2007 10:51:03 AM
Ray Lewis is still in a leadership position with the Ravens
11/27/2007 10:52:46 AM
^^^the "teammates voted him into leadership position" argument is pretty useless here.Ray lewis is also a team leaderand in the NBA. Stephen Jackson was voted by his teammates as a leader for the Warriors, and he always gets in trouble.i feel like he got caught up with the wrong people, but he didnt deserve what happened either. RIP[Edited on November 27, 2007 at 10:55 AM. Reason : dfdasfgadsg]
11/27/2007 10:55:15 AM
Lewis is THE leader of that teamHe has more sway than Billick, no bullshit.
11/27/2007 10:55:32 AM
i dont think anybody is making fun of his death or taking anything away from what he could do on the fieldits just the people who have seen this story play out many times before are calling a spade a spade, since the shoe does fit, but you have these other people like "oh my baby could never do anything bad"...they're the ones in denialbut feel free to continue bashing me for going with probability]
11/27/2007 10:57:08 AM
^^Billick has lost that team a while ago
11/27/2007 10:57:58 AM
if anyone here watches "the first 48" you know that they follow lots of recent miami murders... and now that this guy has passed it could very well appear on the show. which would be interesting since thats like my favorite show on tv
11/27/2007 10:58:37 AM
11/27/2007 10:59:14 AM
^^pretty cool show...for some reason though i doubt they'd do anything this high profile
11/27/2007 11:04:26 AM
it was obviously a planned murdera week earlier someone broke in and left a knife on his bedprobably someone from his past before he cleaned up his act
11/27/2007 11:34:19 AM
at least my fantasy team won't be affected
11/27/2007 11:35:07 AM
^^That's what I'd put money onbut of course, I wouldn't do such a thing^ neither will your rotten vagina[Edited on November 27, 2007 at 11:36 AM. Reason : ]
11/27/2007 11:35:39 AM
so has it been confirmed it was a set up. and didn't Ray Lewis stab a key and got off.
11/27/2007 11:51:12 AM
I'm thinking it was either a set up by his baby's mother/girlfriend (she really has a lot to gain - plus multiply that times 100 if he was cheating), or it had something to do with the scuffle he got in 2 years ago over the ATVs.Anyway, LOTS of people are sporting Sean Taylor jerseys up here, and this shit is bumming lots of people down.
11/28/2007 10:28:38 AM
Ive never been a Sean Taylor fan, but anytime someone so young is killed while doing nothing wrong its a terrible thing.I hope they fry the guy that did this.
11/28/2007 10:31:01 AM
i'll wager some money that they'll never catch the guy(s) who did this
11/28/2007 10:37:05 AM
^ I sure hope they do, but yeah I agree with youRIP
11/28/2007 10:46:57 AM
I think they will actually, they're putting together a reward fund right now for anyone who has any information about the murder.people knowmoney talks
11/28/2007 10:51:46 AM
How big is Miami in to the whole "Don't snitch" bullshit?
11/28/2007 10:56:53 AM
I think the girlfriend might be pretty well off financially, she's Andy Garcia's niece... just sayin
11/28/2007 10:58:13 AM
this is sad as shit. It's crazy to think I go to UM and this happened not far away at all...
11/28/2007 10:58:30 AM
damn my boy is a huge skins fan, went to go buy a sean taylor jersey yesterday afternoon, all the stores around here are sold out, he went online. SOLD OUT everywhere. so he jumped on ebay to see if he could snatch one. people already selling them for over 400 a piece he said. yesterday afternoon.dude wasn't even dead an hour and they were buying up all his stuff to sell for money.. people are ruthless.
11/28/2007 11:08:22 AM
I bought a sean taylor jersey a little over a month ago - thank god. i was gonna buy another one yesterday, but couldn't
11/28/2007 11:15:48 AM
no offense, but why buy a sean taylor jersey now? Esp for over market price?I thought about the "dont snitch" shit too. maybe it will be different since he was a black pro athlete. I dunno

11/28/2007 12:33:14 PM
ok how bout Biggie's killerand still, the cops never caught Orlando Anderson, so unless you're saying Sean Taylor's killer will be killed, I am still saying he won't be caught
11/28/2007 12:37:25 PM
well, whatever - i don't see why you'd worry about it. just let it play out.
11/28/2007 12:43:59 PM
