Hows the body/interior? Prices for all that stuff has gone through the fucking roof. Motor doesnt sound very streetable @ 11 to 1. Hard to say what it is worth with out seeing it but they seem to start at about 5k for stuff that needs some work.Sold in 05 for $5500
11/26/2007 10:55:40 PM
man a BBC aint shit.
11/26/2007 11:22:08 PM
$5500? dag son lemme get thatall depends on the interior and paint and underwork, crawl up under it and make sure there is no rust and suchif the interior is perfect, paint is sharp and crisp, motor runs and is original and has low miles and the car is primarily all original...id say offer around 15k...its worth double that tho[Edited on November 26, 2007 at 11:29 PM. You gonna buy it to flip baonest? I'd trade the hottest car on the road for a 70 SS.

My dad's second car, was a 70 chevelle ss w/ a 454. He, now, wishes he hadn't sold it.He also wishes his 67 gto wasn't stolen and totaled. (first car)[Edited on November 27, 2007 at 12:48 AM. Reason : ]

my buddy just sold his 70 SS, exactly the same as the one your describe, but in pieces, everything was there, no rust, fresh powertrain, just needed assembly and a new paint job. He sold it for 13,000, guy loaded it on a trailer and pulled away (original big block car, not original engine in it ls5 454)this month at the CCAF car show at the fairgrounds a guy had a 454 SS 70 chevelle he wanted 15k for it, it was a non running rust bucketmoral is, if its less than 10 grand and an original SS, BUY IT. that is the most desirable year for a chevelle, plus if its the original engine its worth texas. if its an LS6 454, much much more.I'd say as your described its and easy 15k car, probably more in today's market. BTW, pizza cutters are just fine for a BB fast muscle car, it ain't never gonna handle anyway.[Edited on November 27, 2007 at 1:18 AM. Reason : .]
