This is a note that some kid I went to elementary school posted on Facebook. I found his misfortune humorous.

That night one of my regular customers, a black guy named Zebedee Hood, came in very distraught. He told me that his 'wife' was stranded out on Innes St. at the Hess gas station across from wendy's. I felt bad for him and tried to get him a ride from one of the customers that came in. No one would take him. then he asked if he could borrow my car. I didnt want to b/c i had a problem with him taking it. He seemed like a nice guy but i didnt really feel it was the right thing to do. One of my other regulars that was there looked at me and shook his head. The black guy then asked if it would be ok if my friend went along with him. I was ok with it then. He took my car and left. At about 7:40 my friend returned with my car. He told me that they went to the gas station but didnt see anyone. So the black guy had to drive to his house and had no messages. At 9 the black guy called the store and told me that he found out where his wife was and that he really needed the car. Knowing that doing good deeds can help, i told myself why not. I have no reason to doubt this guy and he seems like a nice guy. The guy came got my keys and left....never to be seen again Thats right folks my car was stolen. But not technically since i gave him my keys. I feel like such a fool for letting him take my car. But i also feel that maybe he needed it more than I did. Hopefully everything will work out. Keep me and my family in your prayers. Hold the ones you love close. And if you do feel the urge to do something nice...dont give your keys to nobody....ive learned that lesson."

wow... has anyone seen the commercial where a random dude starts reading a nigerian scam email to somebody on a subway, the point of the commercial is that the scams work better online. i think this guy is fucking stupid enough to fall for one in person though

Not fake. I definitely think the mistake was loaning your car out to a stranger... regardless of skin color. Especially if he's going to go do something sketchy like pick up his wife at another gas station. I don't remember this dude very well, but he was never the brightest crayon in the box even back in the day.
