For the Mac users in the community, what virus protection do you all use if any?Do you use the software available through NCSU? If not, what would you recommend?

I don't use any on my mac, but I don't (and haven't) used them in PCs either. If you're smart about how you use your computer, you really shouldn't need one, esp. on a mac.Ahmet

So basically just use smartly, don't surf for porn, and I should be fine?

The viruses that you know how to avoid aren't the ones you need protection from.

There really aren't a lot for mac as there are compared to PC

it's pretty damned simple. Don't open email attachments that you don't know. Use Safari or Firefox, and you can surf porn all you want - just be smart about it - don't go downloading every "codec" those sites say you need.

none for mei don't go out of my way to be safe at all. if i want to check out some porn, i'll check out some porn. if i download something that can't be opened by quicktime, vlc, or mplayer, then I assume it's not worth watching anyway and throw it away.
