This most likely means that the software you are trying to download is improperly configured on your schools server.

In order to fix this, please send an e-mail to your PA at Joshua Gira indicating the error you are receiving, and ask him/her to check if the download for this product is properly configured. "

ok this fag joshua gira never responded to my email

his email is joshua_gira@ncsu.edu

what else should i do? i dont want to sign up his name to a bunch of porn, but the fucker is not doing his duty of fixing this shit, or responding to emails...

send an email to help@ncsu.edu about it and ask them to route it to the CSC queue.

MSDNAA is handled on a departmental basis

CSC students are the only ones who can download it from the CSC site

if he's in CNR he needs to talk to someone over there

Um folks, most of these people are on vacation. E-mailing and being angry is not going to get low-priority services like this repaired any more quickly.

And evan, you know that the Help Desk is closed during the Winter Break. They announced it on SysNews and everything.

Josh, I know Josh Gira, and he's fairly on top of things most of the time. Did you e-mail him directly, or to help@ncsu.edu, as was mentioned earlier? If you didn't do the latter, I'd definitely suggest it. Remedy calls tend to get noticed by several folks, so if it needs to get repaired, that will do it faster.

I know. I also know that the IT folks in CNR are few, and that they try pretty hard to get things taken care of for their students. DNL has a right to be frustrated, I'm just trying to help speed things along in a more positive manner. I work for OIT, not CNR, so I can't help directly.

^^^emailed directly to him

he did respond

"If you’re hoping for help, I’d appreciate if you keep the tone of your emails a little more civil. I do not respond to demands. The academic alliance setup is definitely lacking in user friendliness. They recently provided another option that may improve the user experience. The whole program is designed to run itself. My name is merely posted on the site, because I completed all the paperwork necessary to make our programs eligible. I’ll be looking to move the setup over after the Christmas break. If it still is a bust, I’ll just provide you a copy of the media with the appropriate license. Meanwhile, please refrain from emailing me messages that make we wish I had left my laptop at the office. I’m on vacation… and I suspect you are as well.
