so i have to take a business trip out to seattle in december and was thinking about extending my trip by a day or two to ride some of the hills out there. anyone have any suggestions on places with in driving distance to seattle?

if you look south east, you'll see a huge mountain. go that way.

They don't have mountains in or around the Cascade range.

well i know that mt. baker, mt. hood and mt. rainier are all in washington state but i have no idea how long of a drive that would be. looking for something i could do in a day.

I had a friend ski Mt Ranier.Of course they had to carry all of their stuff up.

if you get time check out the mervin inc plant that place is badass you can go in and see them making boards and shit kinda cool

Stevens Pass is pretty close. Mt Baker (which is better) is prob 2-2.5 hours away (just guessing, as I live on Whidbey Island, north of Seattle).Mt Hood and Mt Bachelor are to the south in OR.type "ski wa" into google...one of the links has a map of all the places. the site also shows OR, ID, and BC.let me know if you do this. i might meet you somewhere.

^yep, stevens pass is about an hour away, but pretty easygoing from what im toldbaker is 2.5hrs, and betterWhistler is the best on the west coast, but its a good 3 hour drive from what im told
