i realized as i got older that doctors, lawyers, etc. are mostly bullshit people as they were in their undergrad years.

werd. it's easy to shrug people off, but you learn alot of shit and find out new things about yourself + other people when you're more open minded.

with me, for the most part i've noticed lately i can tell how things are gunna work out. like if i see something falling off a table, it's like i know the physics of the fall and i can tell how it's gunna spin and how the pages are going to flop around.

this is a really interesting topic, imma think about it more and i'll post again.

life is all about experience.

I've become more of an asshole with age

I tend to do what's best for me with complete disregard for the welfare of others

I've adopted a Machiavellian attitude towards life, and I'm a lot better off because of it

I realized that the confidence I developed over the period of my education wasn't much at all. It didn't take much to completely shred it apart, and as a result, I'm scared of a failing. However, I keep trying. I don't know what'll work out and what won't, but doggonit, I'm not getting any younger.

Summary: Life is a challenge. Work on it.

i dont normally shrug people off i just really value people that focus on schooling/careers not on all this popular culture hogwash

its weird, the closer i get to graduation the closer i feel i'm ready to make that next transition...like i realize how much i've learned since being a freshman and feel ready to make the next jump in life

life is easy. just learn culture and be willing to accept one's culture and you will be the friendliest people that anyone could ever meet.

adds weight to my assumption - "they are saying that starting 2009, diversity education will be required."

Yea I challenge more people if they are not giving me good service. And I am not just talking about getting water refills at a restaurant.

I've realized just how hard my parents have worked to make sure my brother and I were taken care of when we were younger. They did not have much to work with, but they ALWAYS had food on the table and clothes on our backs - even if it meant going without something else. And I've realized that living with struggles and putting myself through college has given me so much more drive rather than having it all handed to me, and has made me more humble and appreciative of my family and what I do have than other people.

when young, I always believed there was a unique woman for me, whom I would love deeply and who would be hot, brilliant, and who would fit my personality perfectly

now I'm starting to think that compromise will be necessary

no no

it was fucked up at the moment that man knew he could think and use his thoughts to fuck over another man. the world was at best when only wild species roamed the earth. it was a great place to be. no laws, no morals, no ethics.

1) My parents are actually pretty fucking fun to hang out out with and I hope I have as much fun as they do when I am their age.
2) People respect you more if you are nice and logical rather than bitchy and unpredictable.
3) I am MUCH more anal than I would have ever imagined myself being.
4) Working a full-time job may mean that you don't have to do homeowrk, but it does NOT mean that you have more free time.

That when my parents said to enjoy college while you are there. Don't be in a rush to graduate cause you'll have more responsibilities and life will change... that I should have listened.

That the years go by really quick.

That no matter how much money you have it is never enough.
