Dell Vostro 1000
$399.99..not a bad deal

AMD AthlonTM 64 X2 Dual-Core processor TK-53 (1.7GHz/512KB)
Genuine Windows XP Home Edition
15.4" Wide Screen XGA LCD Anti-Glare Display
1GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz, 2 Dimm
120GB 5400RPM Hard Drive
8X DVD+/-RW w/Double-layer DVD+R Write Capability, for Vista OS
ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 256MB HyperMemory (integrated)
Dell Wireless 1390 802.11g Wi-Fi Mini Card

i'd suggest upgrading the battery to either 6cell or 9cell

i know more than one person that got this deal (and im even considering it) and it didnt require any information about a business or anything...im assuming this is just under their 'business' models for laptops.

^^ i dont know why you havent ordered that laptop up there??

its a great deal and you wont get anywhere close to it in the next few months...i doubt even black friday deals will be as good as that.

and dell doesnt care if youre a business or not. just order it.

Cool.. if that's the case, I will order tonight. Do you guys know how long it takes for them to ship it, considering it's the shopping season and all?

When you order they usually throw an estimated ship date up on the screen. If you customize anything it will take longer.
