Are there any dudes that DON'T like to be asked out? And the term "asked out" is used very generally here.

What do you think about a dude who is forever TEXTING you rather than calling you?

Me, personally, I still think it's strange to rendezvous with somebody- dude or chick, actually- without actually verbally speaking over the phone- not coordinating through texting. That's so...cheap and petty to me. It's almost like it's not even a legitimate form of communication.

but typically if i feel the interest is mutual then i'll do the asking before you get a chance but sometimes women suck with signals

i mean, I guess....some chicks may not like to have the phone call either- so it may work out for some.

I'm just saying for me, personally, Texting is just such a cop-out. Man up and call.
