an axe is a sharp edged weapon sometimes with double sided blades.a maul is a heavy blunt weapon, like a big hammerim using the phrase weapon because this information comes from video games.
11/20/2007 12:20:10 PM
^we sharpen our maul - speeds things up nicely
11/20/2007 12:22:56 PM
This is an invalid comparison as the majority of people haven't even heard of a maul.
11/20/2007 12:23:15 PM
I think he was referring to a splitting maul. The term "maul" refers to hammers of some sort. Splitting mauls look like axes except that the back of the blade is rounded and heavy (like a sledge hammer).

How can a light beer have less alcohol? If both bottles say 5.9% alcohol, what's the difference?
11/20/2007 12:33:39 PM
generally light beers have less alcoholie Bud Light has a lower percentage than Budweiser...Miller Lite a lower % than Millercant necessarily say all light beers have less alcohol than all regular/full beers though
11/20/2007 12:36:52 PM
Miller Lite has the same alcohol content as MGD or High Life. Miller Lite is also not technically a "light" beer.
11/20/2007 12:43:21 PM
not according to this it doesnt http://www.realbeer.com/edu/health/calories2.phpMiller Lite and MGD Lite have the same contentMGD and High Life both have more alcoholand i dont know what you mean about Miller Lite not being a light beer
11/20/2007 12:46:33 PM
I checked a few sites, and the common numbers i am seeing are 4.5% for Miller Lite and 4.6 and 4.7 for MGD and High Life respectively.so ok... you got me on .1-.2%No way in hell that either of them are 5% though like your link says. And Miller Lite is not technically a "light" beer (notice how they spell it differently) because it doesn't fit the qualifications for the label of "light".It's more of a result of MGD (the reference product) having a low calorie content so Miller Lite can't qualify as "light".[Edited on November 20, 2007 at 1:02 PM. If the alcohol content is that important, let me suggest:
