I haven't been to charlotte in a while to actually hang out, so you'll have to show my noob ass around uptown again. Since they revitalized it, I've only been a handfull of times

last time I really hung out there, we were at my friend's condo. it's really close to buckheads, so we just walked there to the bar.

had a few drinks, chilled out, had a good time.

Anyway, me and my girl left the bar early, and walked back to the condo. Some other people that were with us that night, eventually got back about 3 hours later. Apparently, they had tried to walk home, and someone robbed them at gunpoint.

I don't know. I guess that's normal. I just didn't expect to hear that at all.

yeah, I'm willing to bet the robbery was just an isolated incident. From what people tell me (and from what I've seen) they put uptown charlotte back together pretty nicely. When it comes down to it, I bet my friends were robbed because they weren't black, were acting stupid/drunk, or looked like an easy target or something. Basically, if they were a part of this thread, then they would have been ok.
