Fair and balanced moderators that aren't 9-5ers (or worse) that are actually interested in moderating?

theDuke has to be the most 'unbiased' biased moderator I think have ever seen. If you are right leaning politically, you get a free pass. If you are left leaning, you get your posts deleted and threatened with the theft of the hard earned money spent for a username to access this site.

He'll claim he is laissez faire, but what that really means is he doesn't have time to properly moderate, and he'll inevitably scan a thread, see who he thinks is trolling or causing trouble or whatever, and just start deleting and suspending without actually paying attention to the threads.

He doesn't spend enough time in TSB to actually know what is going on with certain users. Or maybe he does, and like I mentioned, just chooses sides that align with his own politically.

i think the major difference is the level of modding thats done now compared to years ago.

it was much more enjoyable when some mods didnt try to micromanage every aspect of the website.

I blame the moderators for overmoderating. This site use to hardly ever be moderated. I would go months without seeing a locked thread. Now all I see in sports talk is ****jibba jabber*** and everytime I post in chit chat I get PM's from moderators telling me to buy an ad.

AND the first time a good drama thread goes up, its removed/deleted. Kills everything. Like a few months ago when someone found that naked chick from state on some porn website. That thread was done.
