There is already some thread talking about student tickets, but its diificult to find the answer (i know bc i tried). So, rather than being an ass i'll just go ahead and answer the question:

Student basketball tickets have assigned seats.

so for the new orleans game the lottery was messed up and there was no way to do a group so each of us did it by ourselves. so we are all gonna have to end up sitting somewhere different.

I called the ticket office and got me and my buddies in the same row

Thats not true at all. On demand is fairly random, I think it may randomly pick a section and gives you the best available seat in that section. We tried cancelling and requesting a ticket about 6 times before we even got close to even being in the same section.
