I lived there, it was actually fairly decent. Best apartments near campus I lived in or saw during my tenure near campus. Lots of arabs/middle easterners, but if you don't mind that it's ok.

pros: Huge closets, 2 story units, good price, next to campus, back patios are nice, its quiet, Most of the population is international/ grad students. There aren't any annoying/ loud/ partying undergrads.cons: they're older, the dryer is in the kitchen, a few sketchy folks live there, no car care centerI personally liked it there. I lived there for 2 years. Just put a padlock on the gate to your patio if you keep anything remotely valuable out there.

I lived there, was not too bad, but our unit was particularly poorly taken care of; unlucky for us the second we moved out the owner went in and refurbished the darn place If we had known they wanted to do it we would have had them do it while we lived there. In our building the upstairs became uninhabitably hot during particularly hot summer days. It was not the air-conditioner since the downstairs became chilly, but we found out later that there was very little insulation in the attic. I don't know if that was all buildings or just ours, but it sucked.

I know a guy who owns one of them. They are definitely older, but pretty roomy. The HOA board there is trying to repair the roofs soon, so there might be some construction work going on in the near future.http://www.universityrenter.com/ncsu/champCourt/

^^Yeah, I forgot about that. The downstairs is cold in winter, upstairs is hot in summer. Its not that uncomfortable though. This is off-topic, but change your a/c filters so your system will work more efficiently.

Krishna Murthy and Gopi Prasad have pick up cricket games in the parking lot there every Sunday morning.

I liked them for the price. Definitely easy to get to campus as well. We lived there, no door on our gate, but it was really convenient. You also don't really have a problem with parking and such, or at least we never did. I think I paid $250 a month + utilities.
